Antique Fire Surrounds |
How much?
We have such a wide range of products that it is not practical to
keep all the lists on the site, but please telephone or email for
prices. As a very rough guide, most stoves range from £400
to £1500 with some as much as £6000, complete fireplaces
range from £1000 to £3000, sometimes even up to £20,000
Do you deliver/install?
We no longer install the fireplaces ourselves but do have a list of local installers that can install all types of real fire and gas fires including stoves and fireplaces and complete installations
, or we can provide all the advice your builder/plumber
will need to install. We can still give a close estimate of the likely cost of installation.
We can arrange delivery (at cost) of products locally, Nationwide and beyond.
I am coming to visit you, what information
should I bring?
It is always helpful to have a few dimensions of the chimneybreast
and the room sizes etc. A photograph (digital or otherwise) of the
fireplace and perhaps the chimney on the outside can also be very
useful - a picture paints a thousand words so they say.
Can you send a salesman to me?
We operate primarily from the showroom, which is where we display and sell the
products. We can call out and provide a guide price to install
your purchase. We do make a charge for this service, which is currently £70, however with the increasing number of digital cameras this is often not necessary - we can tell a lot from a picture and a few basic dimensions - although sometimes a site visit is still worthwhile.
Do you sell Agas?
We do not sell Agas or their comparative products, the nearest local
dealers for these products being Blades Heating in Oxted, or Hoad
and Taylor in Horsham. We do sell antique English and continental
ranges which are beautiful and in working condition but not ideal
for everyday use.
Do you sweep chimneys and sell fuel?
No, sorry but try checking the Yellow Pages for Chimney Sweeps,
Coal Merchants or Log Suppliers. We always recommend the use of
a NACS registered chimney sweep.
Do you offer credit terms/interest free
credit?
Invariably YOU end up paying for the credit somewhere and it is
normally cheaper to arrange this through your own bank, that way
we keep our prices competitive. We do of course take Visa and Mastercard.
